Recently, Shanghai Superconductor has achieved remarkable accomplishments in the fields of technological innovation and industrial development, successively receiving a number of significant national and municipal honors and qualifications.

Recently, Shanghai Superconductor has been invited to participate in several high-profile industry conferences. These include the 11th Annual Academic Conference of the Radiation Effects Branch of the Chinese Nuclear Society in 2024, the 23rd “Practical High-Temperature Superconducting Materials Industry-Academia-Research Cooperation Group” and the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ B-Class Leading Special Project “Key Science and Technology of Next-Generation High-Field Superconducting Magnets” joint meeting, as well as the 2024 International Applied Superconductivity Conference (ASC 2024).

On August 29th, a delegation from Electric Power Research Institute of Guangdong Power Grid Co., Ltd., including Wang Zhongao, Party Committee Secretary and Deputy Director, Xie Songyu, Deputy Chief Engineer, Liang Xiaobing, Deputy Chief Engineer, and a team of experts, visited Shanghai Superconductor(SST) for comprehensive and in-depth research and exchange activities.

Recently, the world’s first fully high-temperature superconducting Tokamak device, developed and constructed by Energy Singularity, known as HH70, has successfully achieved first plasma discharge.

Recently, CCTV’s “News Broadcast” featured a report on the Honghuang-70 high-temperature superconducting tokamak device developed and constructed by Energy Singularity in a special report titled “Frontline Research: Accelerating the Formation of New Quality Productive Forces, Shanghai Seizes the High Ground of Future Industrial Development.”
